When writing fiction, visualising characters is the most important part to me. Characters are almost always the basis of my stories. I got into a habit of trying to recreate their appearance with Cast Cards, used a lot on fanfiction forums.

This blog is simply a celebration of art in images and a way to mentally 'see' people and places featured in my stories. Massive Disclaimer: most (if not all) of the images do not belong to me (I found a lot of them on Google) and I have only used them to create a different artistic view, so all due respect is given to the creator or artist of the images when possible.

Because Kandi Said So

Yes, I did misspell 'Caramel'. I have never known a typo that makes me so angry and ashamed.

Compared to the OLD banners, I am IMMENSLY proud of the above.

Old Cast Banners

See? Bleck.

The Story

At the time I was fascinated with how gangs and crews operate and this story looks at the situation from the inside. Kandi Bae happens to be the most influencial member, though we never see how she got to be that way. I only tell the story from the time she meets Carnell, and how he stops her heading down the path to self-destruction.

Just looking at the banners really inspires me to write something. Then I get to the word document and my fingers just hover over the keyboard for like thirty minutes until I eventually close it again.

Behind Closed Doors

This will definitely not be called BCD any more.

The Story

I remember that writing the story was a lot of fun, even if it didn't make sense. I had no reason for writing it - I just wanted something to post on The Forum. Unfortunately there were too many characters for any one of them to be developed properly.

But the rewrite of BCD takes care of that.
